Last March 23-27, 2016 was the UNIV Seminar Asia-Pacific 2016. This is the Asia-Pacific equivalent to the UNIV conference that is simultaneously held in Rome and it has happened annually since 2012. Last January 25, 2016 was the victory parade of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. Since I had a one-hour break in the afternoon that happened to fall on the time of her victory parade, I decided to watch her parade on the flesh from Quirino Avenue.
Last October 16-17, 2016 was the Student Media Congress 2015 at the De La Salle University. College and High School students inclined on media from all over the Philippines converged on this conference featuring the best practitioners of the Philippine Media Industry.
One of the biggest cosplay conventions in the Philippines took place today – Cosplay Mania 2015 or simply Cosmania 2015. There are so much to look forward to on this event from famous overseas cosplayers gracing the event to the booths around the venue which are mostly shops selling clothes and fandom merchandise.
Last September 7-11, 2015 was the ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum 2015 which was held at the De La Salle University. This is one of the biggest international events that our university has gotten the honor of hosting for this year.
